THE STUDIO
Graced with the shade of century old trees, tucked down a quiet residential street on the southern end of Tremont, one of Cleveland’s most culturally rich and historic neighborhoods, Pozo’s studio is literally and figuratively the coolest place to be on a hot summer day. The studio equipment include ample table space, a Bailey slab-roller, Brent extruder, Cress electric kilns and a tile press.
LODGING
Located a mere 5 minutes from downtown Cleveland, there are many choices available for your lodging needs. Right in my neighborhood there are two suites, a one bedroom and efficiency with kitchenette that can accommodate 4 or 2 guests, respectively. They are in a privately owned home and are rented out by the night, week or month. For rates & reservations contact Southside Concierge at 216-241-7720. Otherwise I recommend finding downtown accommodations. It's a quick drive and there are buses that would get you to my studio. I've always had a good experience with 'name your own price' on priceline.com. Through them you should be able to get a room in a fine downtown hotel for a very reasonable price. Personally, for Cleveland, I would try starting the bidding at around $45 or so, stipulating downtown location and the quality of hotel you are seeking (I usually stipulate 3 star when I travel). If they reject your bid, you can try again in 3 days at a slightly higher rate until you're successful. I've always gotten a room at my first price offer.

Downtown Cleveland is a rather contained area. City bus #81 loops through downtown and then within 5 to 10 minutes, drops you off about 3 blocks from my home/studio. Just about any downtown hotel would be convenient to that bus line but, if you prefer to make your reservations directly with hotel, and don't want to walk much, any of these following Downtown Cleveland hotels are right on the route or less than one block from the route of the #81 bus. Marriott-Downtown Key Center, Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown, Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre, Embassy Suites Hotel Cleveland-Downtown, Hampton Inn Cleveland-Downtown, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cleveland-Downtown, Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade, Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, Residence Inn-Downtown,
